Community Partnerships
Partnership Overview
Our nationally-recognized program is now in its 7th year of reaching out to public and private school classrooms, helping to make music an influental part of every child's education.
Our partnerships with Mesa County School District, Eagle Count School District, and Poudre School District allowus to provide hands-on music instruction to over 400 students each year in the following areas: Early Childhood Music, schools and community service organizations, and city government recreation centers.
Our community partnerships are mutually beneficial relationships between Sera Schools Music Programs and a school, community service organization, or city government in which Sera Schools provides music education programming and/or professional development.
Sera Schools has developed innovative programs tailored to fit the resources and needs of each partner. These partnerships are supported in part by fees from the partners but their existence also depends on the generous contributions of individual, corporate, and foundation donors. We strive to provide high-quality music instruction opportunities state-wide, and provide schools with the music awareness and complimentary programs they need to ensure that music awareness increases and school programming for music is sustained.
Our professional music teachers provide the following to public and private schools as well as community service organizations, for full classrooms of students of all ages and abilities:
PIANO VOICE GIUTAR EARLY CHILDHOOD VIOLIN FLUTE SAX CLARINET DJEMBE CHOIR
"The Sera Schools partnership music program has impacted our school's teaching and learning by supporting both individual and group literacy achievement, helped to increase math skills, provided after-school music arts opportunities to our students, and enhanced and added considerably to the overall positive climate of our school."
