Sera Schools support staff provides the highest quality customer service to all of our customers on a daily basis. Our Scheduling Coordinators are on hand to answer all of your questions regarding registration and will work to make sure that class placement is the best possible fit so you get the most from your experience.

BRITA FAY -
Grand Junction - Sera Schools Area Director

Brita Fay, pianist, holds her Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music (summa cum laude), and Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton (summa cum laude), with additional human biology studies at Biola University.
Fay is the winner of numerous awards and competitions in Los Angeles, New York City, and Western Europe, and is equally at home as a soloist, adjudicator, collaborator, clinician, and pedagogue.
Brita’s writings and performances of Camille Saint-Saëns Op. 22 Concerto have received critical acclaim, both in New York and Colorado. Fay was the subject of a music education film sponsored by the Chinese Government, and has served as a collaborator for demo projects at Universal Studios, Los Angeles. She received the Distinguished Performance Award at Competition Internationalé of Santa Fe, recently premiered a duo-piano work by composer Yoni Levyatov on National Public Radio (NYC), and has appeared locally with the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra. Constance Keene hails Brita’s playing, "A wonderful experience to hear such a professional performer, one full of integrity and verve."
Brita’s pedagogy studies were under Martha Baker-Jordan and Dennis Alexander (Alfred Publishing Company); new music studies with Anthony De Mare; chamber coaches include Renato Premezzi (Michelangeli's prodigy), Arkady Aronov, Hakän Rosengren, Andras Diaz, Phillip Kawin, Jeffrey Coehn, and Paul Posnak. Brita’s primary teachers were Larry Graham, Eduardo Delgado, Marc Silverman, and George Kern (Mozarteum, Salzburg); summer festivals include Corsi Internationali Di Musica (Urbino, Italy), and University of Miami’s School of Music at Salzburg.
RHONDA FORD -
Grand Junction - Sera Schools Scheduling Coordinator

Rhonda is a graduate of Colorado State University earning a B.A. in Occupational Therapy. Having spent a few years practicing in the medical profession, Rhonda began to spread her experiences by working in a variety of careers.
During this time, Rhonda has held positions in both the business and public sector including, but not limited to, organizing local food donations with the U.S. Postal Food Drive, and spending 19 years volunteering her time as the crew chief at the local Catholic Charities Soup Kitchen. Countless individuals were fed by the Catholic Charities during that time helping out individuals in need.
Rhonda has been an oral surgery assistant, has worked in the prison dentistry system, and has been a front office scheduling coordinator in a busy dental office. All of this was done, of course, while raising and educating her three children. Two of Rhonda’s children have become full-time professional musicians, both having traveled the world enjoying the opportunities open to them through music. Rhonda is well-versed in music, having participated in decades of music education with her children.
Rhonda, her husband Dr. Patrick and their Husky, Annie, reside in Grand Junction, Colorado.
ERIN WARDELL -
Grand Junction - Sera Schools Resource Coordinator

Erin Wardell has been a resident of the Grand Valley for nearly 20 years. She has received private piano instruction from local instructors such as Mrs. Joann Hall and Dr. Arthur Houle, and has been studying the instrument for 18 years. She also received vocal instruction from Richard Luke at Mesa State College.d in music, having participated in decades of music education with her children.
Erin loves working with children and music, and hopes to someday run a musical theater program for children. She has been involved in multiple stage productions with children, working with several church organizations and Grand Junction Parks and Recreation's Mesa Youth program.
When she's not teaching, Erin can usually be found spending time with her husband and son, both indoors and outdoors, or working to improve her art. She plans to continue her professional music development, studying works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Felix Mendelssohn, and George Gershwin.
