- PST, Part 1, Section I: Sustained Tones (#1: Diatonic Scale)
- PST, Part 1, Section II: Intervals (#3-6: Major Second, Major Third, Perfect Fourth, Perfect Fifth)
- Pitch/Sight-singing: do re mi fa sol, sol fa mi re do; do re, do mi, do fa, do sol (movable)
- Physical Warm-up (stretching, “body as an instrument”)
- Posture (upright posture)
- Respiration (“Singer’s breath” vs. “scared” and “sleepy” breaths)
- Phonation (spoken sound in upper, lower, and middle registers)
- Resonant tone production ([u] vowel)
- Diction (intelligible spoken diction; tongue twisters)
- Complete the 4 Step Song Learning Pattern for two songs (hum melody alone, sing melody on [u, a], speak-sing words in rhythm, sing song with words)
